Very nice work, the general atmosphere is very peacefull and color used are very good.
Personnaly i just regret the very artificial feeling given by the mountains of the background.
Great work in general

As a sailor I can safely tell you, that that is not a sailors delight. :( You need a bit more wind for that! =p

Awesome render. Your planets are awesome.

wow, this is so beautiful! I love the overall purplish color, and the sky with the planet looks very cool. The water and the reflection of the mountians ar ehandled very well.

Excelent job!!

ok, first up, the hell with the masses, as soon as art is about what everyone else wants its time to do something new, its for You.

Second, and most importantly, this is Awsome! ( care to give some pointers on getting the planets into the terragen pics? Ive tried but either Im missing something or Im just not getting the blending right)

well youre right ...it is about the artist...but it does look alot better with this planet instead....oh well, im glad you like it anyway...

as for pointers...copy the part of the terragen pic that will be covering the planet...then paste it over the planet layer (maybe more than once) and then just work on blending modes, opacity, and erasing(but try not to erase any clouds that would be there) untill you get something that looks good...thats pretty much how i do it...(this is actually my first attempt at trying to blend a planet in close to the horizon)

good luck

Very nice but since I'm so nitpicky, I have to say this. Shouldn't the planets have the same lighting? One has a shadow on the other side...

Anyhow, good job! :+fav:

actually they do both have about the same lighting...i think the problem was that with the overlaid cloud layer it made it look like most of the light was on the top of the big planet even though its really not...maybe one of these days ill try and change it...im glad you like it otherwise...thanks

pretty cool! but not to like be mean or anything but did u purposely not put the reflection of the planets in the water too or wat?

actually i do have a reflection of the big planet..right below and to the left of the boat...maybe you just didnt notice the first time since i made it fairly dim seeing as the planet was not very bright and it looked to me like most of the reflection would be off the bottom of the page...anywho i made it about 5% brighter so maybe you can see it now
